Did this site become very very popular?

By the members list it appears to have added over 10,000 new in May

Why, yes we have! And I for one am looking forward to insightful, fascinating posts from our newest member, Jenatuuqog.

Seriously, they're bots. Seriously, they're bots. We used to have over 100 fake accounts created every single day. Now it's more like 300. If I didn't require new members to email me to activate, we'd be flooded with spam messages on all the forums.
