Thanks had that one bookmarked ran into a couple (forget which) that were off. Found this one http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/game/934598.html that has some good ones. I tell you forging items is down right lame. You can beat most the game in the time it takes you to make a high end item.

Far Cry 2. *Not* a good game, but decent enough that I'll keep playing it.

Crysis, by the same company, is brilliant. I expected Far Cry 2 to use similar mechanics. Not a discarded alpha version of the Crysis engine.

Bad enemy AI, cumbersome physics, and shirtless bad guys who take three hits from a heavy shotgun at 6' to go down, or sustained machine-gun fire. CryTek produced a masterpiece with Crysis, but they ought to be ashamed of themselves for Far Cry 2.

How does it compare to the original Far Cry, considered a masterpiece by an unknown company when it came out?

I want to but geez took over an hour and umpteen tries just to get a almost legendary to use. Ive got tons of good runes to make stuff but not the patience to play my luck over and over

Curious about Far Cry 2 myself have the first one and the expansion. Also anyone play Mercenaries 2. I love the first one. Had it online playing it would be like grand theft auto in the military.

Never played the first, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. The reviewers weren't nearly so kind to Far Cry 2.

The only Resident evil game I have played was for the Wii. I didnt care for it too much.

I will probably wait until a price drop or clearance for RE5

I'm stuck on all the Guitar Hero games. Guitar Hero II, Legends of Rock, World Tour, Aerosmith, Metallica, and I hear the next one will be Van Halen.

The Beatles get sort of boring real quick, like you've heard it too many times already. The Rolling Stones would be much more interesting if they have to do something from one of the two largest British Bands of the 60's. Or just do the British Invasion of the 60's. That sounds good.

I'm just not that big a fan of the Beatles, nor do I think their fans are anything like a major Rock Band demographic. Obviously, though, I'm wrong. I'm sure they spent lots of money researching whether they would make money before they gave the go-ahead.

Word for word I feel the exact same way. I just didn't see the 'demand' for it either. I think Van Halen would be an awesome guitar hero. I don't even like those games and I would consider it for that.

Lately I am HOOKED on Magic the Gather Duel of the Planeswalkers on Xbox live arcade best 800 points Ive spent on there. Great gameplay its just like a game of magic cards with some flavor graphics. Haven't ventured online against humans yet.

I have found myself playing many phone games lately.

I have one of those ninja smart phones and I see a great future for them.

while many games are pretty campy I have recently downloaded DOOM for my phone and saw another person playing NEED for SPEED a racing game in which the player phisicaly tilted the phone to stere the car.

my current addiction is for a tower defense game that has encouraged me to start picking the longest lines at the store so i have a chance to play in peace.

I thought you were going to say you picked the longest lines at the store so you'd have more time to shoot at things as the enemy has to walk around them.

I saw something like that once.

essentially it was a tower deffence game but you also had to buy monsters to attack the other guy as well as towers to deffend yourself.

was fun though.

Hey Blue,

If you still have Starcraft 1 installed, I can send you the map I (and my bro) made that is like a bunker defense type thing.
He and I loved that crap and made a few, but there is a best one if you want it.

I was dating a chick who challenged me to a game. I practiced for days and she beat me in less than 7 mins... 3 times... the 4th game i lasted about 20 mins.

most chicks equate dancing to sex.

in korea its starcraft ability.
its not about winning or loosing.
I just couldn't last long enough to satisfy her.

I bought Fallout 3 when it came out after Dave told me, Fallout 1&2 were the spiritual successors to Wasteland (Best Commodore 64 game ever) I know he knocked it for being a FPS but this game is great. With the percentage shooting set up it's more of a hybrid of FPS and RPG. If it says you have a 7% chance of making the shot, you're going to miss and will usually get attacked.

I have played it off and on since it came out and my last game save said 123hrs 53Min. I did buy all the downloadable content, and I have over 30 locations I haven't found, several challenges that I know about to finish, I assume 1 or 2 challenges that I don't know about, and another DLC coming out in August All of this just playing through as a good character. I doubt I would replay it completely as a Bad or Neutral character but I'm sure there are a few things I would want to do as each that I had to pass to keep good karma.

With the DLC, it is still challenging. I have maxed out everything that has to do with combat and hit the level cap and still back peddle to stay alive against certain enemies.

For the money, I don't think there is a better game on the 360.

Quote:
Cliff Bleszinski, design consultant at Epic Games for Shadow Complex, indicated during an E3 interview that the game runs parallel to the events in the Orson Scott Card novel, Empire, and that the game will dovetail with the sequel to the book, Hidden Empire. Empire is a Chair-owned IP that was licensed to Orson Scott Card to create a series of novels.
