Is that a flare gun in his hand? Doesn't fit my image of the rifle Felix used.

A thousand times better than the last one.

Not sure why there's so much blood inside the ship, but eh... blood sells I guess.

Like the suit.

Not blood. That's Kahlua.

Thanks Dave--

I do think it is great that this great book is still being published.

and I do like the cover better than the last one, Think that the suit should have been more pronounced?- detailed?

My favorite will probably always be the battered one on my first copy from 1984.

Also like it being billed as "The best selling Military classic" should bring in readers other than Sci-Fi . I do not think of it as a Military book, much more of a Classic story of human survival./ living?

But what I like best is that Mr Steakley gets top billing.

Bah.

Give me the Jim Burns cover any day. The anguish on Felix's face, and the harsh glint of plasteel. Screw that pathetic photoshopped 'artwork'. Mad

The perspective seems wrong on this. Is he standing on the word armor? If he is, then why isn't his knee bent to get that leg up there? If he isn't, why is it higher than the other leg. Something looks off and I'm almost willing to bet that if we measured that left leg it would be shorter than the right, consider it is supposed to be closer in the picture since the other one is behind the title.

Based on this, I hate this cover.

PS. Please don't make me print it and start measuring.

I like the old cover better at least Felix is represented. Lol, maybe they should dig up Kevin Long to do a cover, he always made power armor look pretty slick.

Interesting cover. Kind of dorky shoes. Seems like they are going for a Halo-look to it. But, hey, anything to increase sales and distribution. Maybe a few of them will make it over here.

I thought I posted about this, but evidently not.

I am glad the book is being printed again, but I don't especially like the new representation of the armor. Nor did I like the second, where you could see Felix's face. I don't think you should see his face.

I like the original cover's armor, but don't like the ant.

Aw shucks....I was hoping they'd go with my version. Guess it was too bloody.
